Imaging-Resource.com demonstrates three of the autofocus modes in the Olympus E-520 Live View mode, as well as the IS mode and onscreen menu system. Note that the camera’s sounds are amplified by the proximity of the recording camera.

With the E-520’s Live View, you can shoot your subject while viewing it on the LCD monitor, so it’s just like shooting with a compact camera. In addition to phase-difference detection AF, the E-520 incorporates a high speed Imager AF that offers easy 11-point multi-area autofocusing with Live View simply by half-pressing the shutter button.

D40x is best of those.
I bought a new camera which I received yesterday, and it was until earlier, but has suddenly started taking yellowy/greeny tinted images. I’ve tried changing the settings, I’ve changed the camera modes, I reset the settings altogether and even changed lenses and yet the camera still takes tinted pictures, inside and outside.
Also, when I switch the camera to live-view mode (shows exactly what the lens sees) it shows pretty much an entire green screen, with bright lights infront of the camera showing up slightly.
2 things. The white balance is possibly way messed up. There is also a WB BKT in the 2nd menu down. Make sure that’s not on. Other than those things, I can’t think of what would cause that. If the WB doesn’t fix it, I’d get a hold of Olympus. I’ve always had very good luck with their customer service people. Good Luck.
With the proper adaptor, you possibly can.
The adaptor is made by Wein and what it does is protect your electronic camera from too much voltage that might come into the camera through the flash.
My advice, as a long time Olympus owner who has numerous OM models and also one of the E models of digital, is not to use it at all for fear of damaging your camera. It would be wiser to purchase a flash made specifically for your camera.
