I just bought an Olympus Digital SLR camera and i now want to get a memory card for it.
But i don’t know whether to get an Olympus xd card or a compact flash card which is cheaper and has more memory.
Are compact flash cards not as good?
can you still transfer pictures onto a computer if you have a compact flash card?

A compact flash card is the more widely used card among photographers. Therefore, more computers already have a built-in memory reader for compact flash cards. Generally, compact flash cards also offer faster transfer speeds than xD.

I haven’t tried it. I own an Evolt-500 and love it but I’m looking foward to the changes in the new line (better ISO, image stabilization).
