Where in China (ideally Chengdu) can I find a lens for my Olympus E-510?

I recently purchased a DSLR ( Olympus E510 ) with the small 14-42 mm lens in Bangkok. However I am currently in Laos and will shortly be crossing the border into China and want to head west. Will I likely be able to find a lens for this camera in Chengdu or should I head elsewhere in China to find one?
I am looking for a lens around 40 – 150 mm !

need help with my olympus evolt e510?

i cant get the lcd screen to do auto focus without taking a picture. if i look thru the eyepiece it works great. im talking about when you get a green light to set up for a shot. you push the shutter button halfway down & it does auto focus, it does nothing when im using the lcd until i go all the way, then it takes the picture. i just got the camera and i dont kniow if im doing something wrong or if the camera is faulty? please help me if you can. i need to be able to use the auto focus with the lcd so i can have a hair trigger on the shutter button.

you probably have the camera on continuous autofocus.
it does the focusing all the time.
it is harder on the batteries
but it is a lot faster

My OLYMPUS Evolt E510 refuses to take pictures in the dark HELP!?

I tried to take a photograph of a felled tree this morning and again experienced this problem, i’m pretty scared because i’m due to take photographs of a band playing live.
I’ve tried different settings, e.g. AUTO , Landscape.
I’ve tried it with AF Illuminator off and on, but to no avail.
HELP!!!!!!!
i’ve tried night scene, low key and candle.
The camera does focus when the shutter button is pressed halfway but when pressed fully down it just doesn’t take the picture..
There are streetlights in the background in perfect focus.

Time to put the camera in Manual Mode and take control. For your band photos you’ll need the fastest lens you own (f1.4, f1.7) and a higher ISO (1600, 3200). Being close to the stage will help, as will Image Stabilization. Use the Noise Reduction in the camera or a program like Noise Ninja to "clean up" the noise from such a high ISO. You will probably have to use manual focus so you may need to practice.
