My second time lapse video. I borrowed about 175 shots from the first and then took an additional 800 or so. This was all shot in the North Cascades around Darrington Washington. Shot with an Olympus E-500.

This is a collection of photos I’ve taken in the first six months of 2010. All of the flowers and foxes are right from my backyard. I am very new to photography, but I am learning that almost any object can make a fascinating photo if you just take the picture from an angle that the eye would not normally see. Sometimes your camera will get wet and sometimes your knees will get dirty, but the results will be worth it.

Olympus had two goals for the 10-megapixel Evolt E410: That it be one of the most compact dSLRs available, and that it appeal to dSLR newbies stepping up from a snapshot camera. With its slim profile, almost grip less body, and modest 1 pound, 4.2-ounce heft (with the 28mm to 84mm equivalent lens), the Olympus Evolt E410 feels solid and not at all like a budget model. Both kit lenses are equally lightweight and compact.
